Cooperation Between Bulgaria and Saxony will continue to develop

On the 17th and the 18th of January the Ambassador, Mrs. Shekerletova, visited several institutions in Leipzig at the invitation of Heiko Schmidt, Managing Director of INNO-CON.

The meeting at the University of Leipzig was of special importance. The Rector Prof. Schücking, the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Prof. Dr. Dr. Vahlenkamp and the Director of the Small Animal Clinic Prof. Dr. Starke welcomed the Ambassador in the building complex, which was built in 1923. It was the first visit of an ambassador to the faculty. The occasion of this meeting was, among others, the cooperation agreement with the Thracian University in Stara Zagora (Bulgaria), which was concluded in August 2021. In addition to visiting the facilities, there was a meeting with Bulgarian students at the Faculty.

The Ambassador met with representatives of the Bulgarian community in Leipzig at the Europa House (photo). Another meeting took place with the Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Dr. Hofmann, and the International Business Unit Manager, Mr. Feige.
